Jon Hart Gets 2 New Career Highs in Defensive Rebounds, and Blocks
After a terrible game on 02/11/2017 Jon Hart was on a mission to prove himself. Edward Waters College faced Talladega College in Talladega Alabama on Monday 02/13/2017. Jon remained as the starter as he has started 4 straight games now. He won the opening tip off for his team, and throughout the game he played a dominate brick wall defense, and finished defensive stops with huge rebounds. Jon Hart ended the game with 5 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 turnovers, and 5 blocks. His previous high for defensive rebounds was 6, and his previous record for blocks was 3. However, Hart beat both of his records with 8 defensive rebounds, and 5 blocks.
Jonathon Hart held all 3 Centers for Talladega College to a combined 3 points 9 rebounds. The most outstanding play of the game for Hart was a 2 block possession where he blocked All American Jordan Washington(Point guard for Talladega) twice to end the first half. EWC next game is against Vorhees College on Saturday 02/18/2017.
