Basketball player for EWC to play tonight

After being out since Nov. 11th star center for Edward Waters College is cleared to play! Jon Hart is 6’11 and 245 lbs. While Hart was out from a fractured ankle he improved in his strength as well as his post moves. Expect a great finish to the season for Jon Hart as he tries to rally his 6-10 team back to winning tendencies. before Jon Harts injury the team was .500 with a 2-2 record including upsetting Ranked #25 Warner University.

Jon Hart is probably not going to receive to many minutes tonight, but expect is return to make an impact on the team as a whole. Edward Waters College is playing Tougaloo University at 7:30 PM Tonight.

Jon Hart returns for first Basketball game of 2016

Jon Hart a star freshman for Edward Waters College returned to action Monday night without being cleared by medical staff. He was informed he would be able to warm up with the team, but after starting center fell hard in the opening minutes Jon Hart was called in to play.

Jon Hart had 8 total minutes of playing time where he produced 6 points on 3 for 5 from the field and grabbed 3 rebounds, and an assist. The team went on to beat Tougaloo University in Overtime.

6’11 Freshman Center for Edward Waters College

Jon Hart returned for the first time since his injury on 1/11/16. Since his return his team snapped a 4 game losing streak, and  have been undefeated going 3-0 (2-0 in conference). The Center dominates on defense, and shows incredible leadership on both ends directing his team in the short amount of playing time he receives. Jon hart recorded 6 points on 1/11/16 after starting center was injured early on.

 Jon Hart says that he plays on making this winning streak last as long as possible in hopes of making it to the NAIA national tournament in March. Jon Hart and the Edward Waters College Tigers are tied for 3rd in the conference with 2 conference games coming up this weekend. Jon Hart is 6’11 and 235 lbs.
