    Jon Hart had his best game of the season last Saturday against conference opponent Xavier where he recorded 2 points 7 rebounds 1 assist and 2 blocks. Jon Hart had an even bigger game on Monday night however versus conference opponent SUNO. Jon Hart before Monday nights game was averaging close to 1.5 points and 3 rebounds per game, however on Monday night Jon Hart recorded 3 points and 10 rebounds in only 12 minutes of playing time. 

Jon Hart is from Casa Grande, AZ. Jon never played high school basketball, but would always be found playing basketball on local street courts. Jon Hart came to EWC for his freshman season not expecting much playing time, but has turned his season into a great one. Jon Hart seems to keep getting better, and better, and as soon as he grabs a starting role expect a double double every night from him.

6'11 Freshman Center for Edward Waters College Jon Hart has career night! Jon Hart led Edward Waters College in rebounds on Saturday going up and grabbing a total of 7 boards, his 2nd best performance was 5 in a single game. Jon hart also had 2 points 3 blocks, and an assist to go along with his 7 rebounds. The Edward Waters College Tigers however fell to Xavier University losing by only 3 points. 

Jon Hart also had a career high in total minutes receiving over 17 minutes of play time, his average playing time is 7 minutes on the season. Jon Hart and Edward Waters College have another home game against Southern university of New Orleans tonight. Jon Hart didn't have a great game against them on the road, but hopes to keep recording career highs to close out his season.

With foul trouble for Edward Waters Post players Jon Hart Receives more playing time. Jon Hart entered the game in the first half, and right away got a easy basket against Tougaloo College. Edward Waters lost the game however after poor reffing as the home team shot 39 free throws, and 3 Edward Waters College players were fouled out with 10 mins remaining in the 2nd half. 

Jon Hart who is a 6'11 235 lb freshman Center for EWC. Jon Hart received 12 minutes of playing time, and recorded 6 points 4 rebounds 2 assists, and a aggressive block where he tore the ball from the opponents hands and headed up court. Jon Hart and Edward Waters College host Xavier University on Saturday.

Basketball player for EWC to play tonight

After being out since Nov. 11th star center for Edward Waters College is cleared to play! Jon Hart is 6’11 and 245 lbs. While Hart was out from a fractured ankle he improved in his strength as well as his post moves. Expect a great finish to the season for Jon Hart as he tries to rally his 6-10 team back to winning tendencies. before Jon Harts injury the team was .500 with a 2-2 record including upsetting Ranked #25 Warner University.

Jon Hart is probably not going to receive to many minutes tonight, but expect is return to make an impact on the team as a whole. Edward Waters College is playing Tougaloo University at 7:30 PM Tonight.

Jon Hart returns for first Basketball game of 2016

Jon Hart a star freshman for Edward Waters College returned to action Monday night without being cleared by medical staff. He was informed he would be able to warm up with the team, but after starting center fell hard in the opening minutes Jon Hart was called in to play.

Jon Hart had 8 total minutes of playing time where he produced 6 points on 3 for 5 from the field and grabbed 3 rebounds, and an assist. The team went on to beat Tougaloo University in Overtime.

Jon Hart returned for the first time since his injury on 1/11/16. Since his return his team snapped a 4 game losing streak, and  have been undefeated going 3-0 (2-0 in conference). The Center dominates on defense, and shows incredible leadership on both ends directing his team in the short amount of playing time he receives. Jon hart recorded 6 points on 1/11/16 after starting center was injured early on.

 Jon Hart says that he plays on making this winning streak last as long as possible in hopes of making it to the NAIA national tournament in March. Jon Hart and the Edward Waters College Tigers are tied for 3rd in the conference with 2 conference games coming up this weekend. Jon Hart is 6’11 and 235 lbs.
